Why do I not write in Ulster Scots more often?

I have a method of writing that I need to use, if I am going to write words on paper that correspond with the words in my head.  Well, I have a method of proof reading and correction that eventually leads to something reasonably coherent.  I write in the full awareness of being dyslexic, this isn’t a problem because I’ve developed a pretty successful system to deal with its effects, a system I use for spelling, checking and editing.  I’ve used it for years, I’ve tweaked it, refined it, and gotten used to it, everything from the standing desk that permits movement to the technology used.  My first line of defence is Word, it underlines mistakes in red so you can see what’s wrong and what needs looked at, when you write in Ulster Scots everything is in red.  Next I listen to everything I’ve written via TextHelp, this doesn’t help with Ulster Scots, however at times it can be pretty funny!  If I can’t spell a word, I’ll type something that means the same thing, then look the word up in the thesaurus, 99% of the time I’ll get the actual word I want pretty quickly, this doesn’t work for Ulster Scots.  When editing “Lock Doon Poyams” I laboriously checked pretty much every word from a number of sources, that’s just about okay for poems, but really pushing it for prose.  So why do I not write in Ulster Scots more often?  Because as of yet I have not been able to create a system to check my spelling and the coherency of my writing, but I am working at it!
